It's been an exhausting day. Met up with a bunch of vv's fam in a bunch of different places.

VV has an interior designer cousin who lives with his partner in the most amazing space with the most amazing views. When I figure out how to steal homes that place will totally be mine.

I don't think I'd ever seen a motorcycle sidecar before! Not in real life on a real road, anyway.

This past week has been crazy busy but thank goodness that's over (for now). Yesterday I went to my very first poetry reading. Some of the stuff was cool (like the free wine (okay and some of the poems too)) but I think that overall it's not my steeez.

Weather is warming up and that makes me happy. I think I'm going to have a frosty stein of beer now.

On the day before I took the cake picture VV happened to look at the date and said "I'm exactly 32 and a half today!" to which I replied "It's your half-birthday! We should get a cake!" So the next day VV went to the grocery store and bought his own half birthday cake (among other things) because I'm terrible haha. Which reminds me, this coming Saturday is MY half-birthday (I'm actually more vocal about my half-birthday than my actual birthday because I'm pretty sure no one cares about my half-birthday so no one pays attention to me anyway haa)

Anyway, it's been a good past few days I guess? Went to a boat wedding on Saturday (FREEEEZING) and then we ended up going to Tommy's afterward because I'd had a bunch of wine and was craving something greasy and salty. Sunday I got to meet Lina's new dude and had sausages and beer (woooo weenies) at Wurstkuche.

Oh, also, for some reason I woke up at 4am Sunday morning and couldn't fall back asleep. Terrible. I was exhausted all day but I managed to get my taxes done (woo!)
