I've been impatiently waiting for my rice to finish cooking. I've been craving it since early this evening. I was never much of a rice fan...not a plain white rice fan anyway...but right now it's all I really want to eat. I'm not really in the mood for anything really greasy or rich. I'm drinking bottled water and eating steamy white rice. Smells so good.

I'm a little stress monkey. Or at least I am right now.

It's going to be hell week until Monday. Or possibly Tuesday?

My midterm today smashed me.

I have a Japanese midterm tomorrow...but I don't have time to study for it because I have homework that I don't know how to do due tomorrow :(.

Essay due on Thursday. Haven't started it. Must work on it Wednesday. Unfortunately, I work until 11 on Wednesday.

Homework due on Friday.

Another impossible 121 assignment due on Monday.

Oh yeah...plus a 121 midterm. Tuesday was it?

Actually....blargh.

I suppose I'm just whining too much.

But it feels like my head is going to blow off.

I think I'm going to stay in my hole for a little bit longer....

Which means I'm cutting off contact.

Yeap, I won't be signing on to AIM any time soon.

I don't think this one will have any visible marks, but frick it hurts. Just mashed my fingers in a drawer at work. Ouch.

That movie will be on my must buy list when it comes out on DVD and vol. 2 will be on my must-see list when it comes out in theaters.

Not a movie for everyone. It's quirky and funny and twisted. Three thumbs up.

Next movie on my must see list? Battle Royale, another twisted movie. Very controversial, but it looks verrry interesting. Only problem is? How do I get a hold of this baby? Hrmm.....

I think my wisdom teeth are coming out.

I bought the boyfriend an ice-cream cone this afternoon. He offered me some but I didn't feel like it at the time. I do now. Woe is me :(

The following post is going to be nothing but a lot of wallowing, so if you're easily annoyed by that kind of stuff then skip down a few posts and tell me, do you know what the 30-day rule is?

The day commenced with me going to school at eleven, and ended with me eating soup out of a can at 1:30 am, doing my Japanese homework in a quiet living room. How pathetic is that?

Oh yeah, and I sneezed with soup in my mouth so I ended up with soup up my nose and all over my hands. I'm probably going to find lentils in my boogers tomorrow. Yum.

I took a cue from Ra and left my phone off all day, turning it on only to make a couple of phone calls. I somehow wanted to get through the day as uneventfully as possible...but I guess not...

Lets just say the whole day ended up being not so great...self-pity, I know, but at least give me that.

I haven't opened any of my gifts or listened to any of my messages. It seems so depressing to do it in the middle of the night, alone.

Thanks to those of you who called me (I don't know who did, but I'll know tomorrow) and left birthday greetings on my/your blogs. Thanks to my dear roommates, who I would have liked to have been with tonight :( Christy: I was going to eat a piece of cake tonight but after looking at it, I couldn't bear to cut it so I took pictures of it instead. Thank you Christylicious. Thank you Danno for brightening my day :) Tony: did you get my post-it? Thanks to Kit's sisters who had a gift bag waiting for me last night when I went to their house, and to the older one who had him pick up a cheesecake for me.

I'm exhausted and my eyes are swollen. I'd better get to sleep or I'll never get up in time for work tomorrow ;(

Thirty Day Rule

Before he had told me, I had no idea what the thirty-day rule was. Does everyone know about this rule? Am I the only clueless one here? I'm super-glad that my boyfriend doesn't seem to believe in it. If he did, I'd be out of a boyfriend.

Just found a mysterious bruise on my leg. Possibly from the spill I took walking to class but I didn't hit that leg on anything....?

1. I was in this huge rush this morning so I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going. I caught my little toe on someone's shoe when I was walking through the apartment and frick...it hurt. So anyway, I went to class and yadda yadda yadda. It was a tutoring class so there were only three students. I was sitting on a chair and put my feet up on the wall (yeah yeah ew gross whatever) and it turns out that I cracked my toenail and I was bleeding :(

2. I was sitting on the curb of Ring Road waiting for class to start and talking to miss Styna. Well, after she left, I got up to walk to my classroom and as soon as I turned around I fell. After I fell, I looked around to see what I tripped on and there was nothing there :( So I guess that means I just fell? What I have to show for it: 1 skinned hand, 1 skinned knee, and a cracked (but not broken *whew*) Starbucks Frap bottle (one of the 13+ oz ones :D)

In other news...

Happy 15 month anniversary to me :D

Blech...it's coming up...again. My birthday. It always ends up being so...anticlimactic...;P I mean, several girls I know recently had a mass sweet sixteen party held at JANM. Holymoly. I spent my sixteenth birthday taking the PSAT.

Anyway, I'd much like to buy a birthday gift for myself but I don't think I have the funds to do so right now. I've been contemplating a Kate Spade purse (I like em) or something.

I dunno. All I know is that I'm hungry. And I'm all by my lonesome here at work right now. Boo.

Already went out to lunch this afternoon.
