Excellent weekend. I'd been bugging VV to go to The Crow Bar for weeks and we finally went on Saturday afternoon. I'm not going to give too many details (or post too many pictures) since I'm going to save it for Flickr (i.e. it probably won't get posted for another 6 months or so...ack) but I posted ONE photo because it's so crazy sinfully delicious looking. SO FOOD PORNOLICIOUS. I highly encourage you to view it in its full size...I even resized it slightly larger than I normally do because it's so tasty looking. He thinks all of the commercials with men defending their purses are funny.

After we finished our lunch/brunch we went walking down the street and chanced upon the Sherman Library and Gardens (which we'd never heard of before) so we decided to pay the $3/ea admission and check it out. It was like a much smaller version of the Huntington Library with a restaurant/tea room and everything.

Later that day we saw Inception with his parents.

Today we gorged on rotisserie chicken (oh man SO GOOD) and picked up my dad's car so I can drive it until I buy a new car, which probably won't be for a couple weeks or so.

It's been a good month so far I think. I feel like all of the crap for this year somehow got crammed into the first six months (culminating with my June 30th collision) and that maybe the latter half of the year will be better.

Anyway, it's finally starting to feel like summer! June gloom can suck my ass. I love this hot weather. Except I forgot to wear deodorant today. And for some reason didn't realize it until late this afternoon. Wth.
