Home sweet home
"What do you want for dinner tomorrow?"
My mom called me yesterday afternoon asking if I was going to come home on Sunday and since I was, what I wanted for dinner.
"Do you want to go out?"
"Noooooo." I whimpered into the phone.
These past couple of weeks have been completely devoid of any home cooked meals and I was dying for one. I like going out to eat and I like traveling, but this was getting to be a bit much. I had never been so happy to be back in Southern California as I was when I deplaned at John Wayne on Friday night.
I love California. I love Southern California. I think that the fact that I love it more and more with every place I visit (yes, even after being in Hawaii...but only because the idea of being stuck on a little island for a very extended period of time makes me a bit nuts :P) has to say something.
Well, we'll see. VV and I are hitting up NYC next month so perhaps I'll have a change of heart ;)
The Korean had a freaking bathtub sitting a few feet away from the foot of his bed. VV and I call it his love tub. Or maybe it's just me that calls it his love tub. Whatev.
