my lungs are working!
For the past couple of mornings (and the past couple of evenings) I've dragged my sorry butt out to the pool to get in some light cardio because man I really need it. The apartment pool is tiny and is in the most retarded shape ever...like a kidney that's really small at one end. Actually, it's more like an angular xmas stocking. You know, not quite like a regular sock, very small at the "foot" area. It's impossible to do laps so I've resorted to swimming the perimeter. What sucks is trying to swim the "toe" area. It's so small that rounding the bend churns up the water like no other and usually results in me taking in a nose/lungfull of water. GAHHHHH. Consultant brought in doughnuts. I went for a short jog and a short swim this morning SO I'M GOING TO EAT ONE. Wedding tomorrow. I still need to wrap the gift.
