I've been trying to remember this piece we played in orchestra sometime this/last year. There was some sort of fairy dance in it...a movement that was supposed to be this lullaby...except it was really freakish. Our conductor said that it was a creepy lullaby...like "go to sleep little girl you're going to get raped" or something along those lines. The last movement thing is really well known...kinda quick and stuff. I remember the first time we rehearsed it the director dropped his baton and yelled "SAXOPHONE?!?! Who wants a saxophone?! Nobody wants a saxophone!" I guess he didn't pay attention to the instrumentation or something. Whatever the case, we've never needed a sax before and we didn't have one. We had to drag one in from somewhere else. Anti-Sax League. Woohoo.
