Here I am again trying to do college crap. My college counselor sent me a questionnaire for me to complete to help him fill out my Freshman School Report for USC. There are eight questions, and I completed all but three.
1. List your 3 most distinguishing, most admirable qualities. Explain each with several sentences. (Think about what aspects of yourself you would like to stress to colleges.)
What two or three books that you have read have had the greatest impact on you? Why?
Is there anything unusual about your family – cultural background, shared interest and activities, travel, size, crisis, etc. – that has had a significant on your own interest and concerns? |
The last two just give evidence as to whether I have a brain in my head or not. It's that first one that's really killing me. I just looked at it and couldn't come up with a good, honsest answer. The more I thought the worse it became. It shouldn't be that hard, should it? Just the fact that I can't find a reason for the college to want me is pretty depressing, I mean, if I can't even convince myself, how can I convince the admissions officers?
