Anyway, I made dinner reservations for 2 at a restaurant my mom picked out. My brother ended up driving down from the Bay Area last minute. We didn't expect him to come down since he said he had to play a concert Saturday night, but he ended up leaving right after his concert and drove all night to make it down, scaring my mom in the morning when she walked into the kitchen Sunday morning and he was there.

Afterward, we went to Guppy House to satisfy our smoothie/slushy cravings. Perfect end to a perfect afternoon.

I'm at the hotel in VA now. I had too much beer and I SAW MY FIRST REAL LIVE FIREFLY EVARRRR so exciting. Anyway, need to get to sleep now. It's past 2AM here!

Second two photos: We were planning on going to the beach on Saturday so on Friday I made spam musubi. VV doesn't like nori (whaaaaaat) so I attempted to wrap them with egg. Ended up being kind of messy.

Doing some offline "blogging" right now while I'm on the plane. Going to copy and paste these suckers when I get an internet connection!

We're traveling again tomorrow. And tomorrow is Damon's birthday! He will be 31 years old. Older than me fo lyfe.

Am still stressed and perpetually sleepy. Except at night. When I should be sleeping.

Today == packing. Tomorrow == waking up before 6am, probably.

Dude I was/am such a bizarre kid. I read my old crap and it's just so..meh. Why didn't I write anything important down?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that my current lack of blog posts is at least partially due to twitter. Now that there's a quick and easy outlet for 1 to 2 line witticisms there is no real need to post such things on my blog. I think such posts made up maybe half of my blog back in its heyday.

Well, back to reading archives and waiting for the sleeping pill to kick in.

Finally pulled my Lady Gaga mp3s off the Amazon cloud (thanks to Skim for giving me the heads up on the 99 cent sale!) and there are 3 songs I'm really liking off of her new album:

It totally didn't dawn on me that it's already June (despite the fact I've written dates on various things since it's begun) until I saw some banner with the date "June 4th" on it and I was like "WAIT A SECOND THAT'S TODAY". I think I've just been really wiped out lately...ugh. I want to hibernate for the next two months.
