Has anyone seen Catfish yet? We're going to try and make it out to the theater to see it tomorrow.

Ohhh that first photo. The shaky hands, the dead, unfocused, drunk-at-3am eyes. I don't even remember taking it. I guess I was trying to take a picture of my hair. The second photo is from the following morning, again trying to document my hair. I've learned that a flatiron makes much nicer curls than a curling iron and that they (the curls) look 10x better after being broken in a bit (i.e. sleeping on them, or going out all night in them, or both). I didn't want to wash my hair that morning but VV said I had to.

Except not so random because I only photographed things that were in plain sight at the mo. Thanks loves ♥

The evening started off as a bit of a clusterfuck and by the time VV and I had started to make our way to the restaurant from the hotel my hands were literally shaking from the stress of it all, but all went well for the remainder of the night thanks to the lovely people who made it out for joint birthday celebration #2. Many, many thanks to Sara, Damon and Ho for putting our names down and for waiting an insanely long time for us + the table. Thanks to everyone who showed up, thanks for Lina/Leanne for pretty much organizing, thanks to VV for taking so many photos with my camera when I was too drunk to do so, and thanks to the random middle aged dude at the restaurant for the splash of 160 proof (!) booze. It felt like burrrrninnnng.

Sorry to everyone for the drunk calls/texts (I called my brother at 3am to tell him happy birthday except we were all drunk so I'm sure it wasn't so happy for him) and happy actual birthday to Leanne, who turns 26 today!

I ended up with a pretty fierce sore throat on Monday, and whenever that happens I end up with a crazy monthlong cough that's incredibly annoying and kind of gets in the way of everything. I've been nursing it like crazy with regular saltwater and listerine gargles (not mixed together, ew), lots of vitamin C (even though I'm sure most of it eventually went down the toilet), my inhaler (ha, yeah), Zicam (I swear this stuff works), cough syrup, and hot water with lemon/ginger/honey. Oh, and hot green tea. And lots of water.

Need to get better before the weekend!

That photo up there is about as current as it gets; I took the photo maybe 15-20 minutes ago. For some reason I've taken to drinking beer out of wine glasses. That up there is peach lambic. I'm on my second glass now.

I've been utterly and inexplicably wiped out these past couple weeks. We moved offices during the hottest week of the year. It sucked for us, but sucked doubly for our poor movers. VV's birthday also passed recently. I managed to convince him to get together his college friends for billiards, drinks and dinner. I think it went over well.
