No I'm not on Valium right now (though I suppose it would be nice if I was!) but it's a line in the SATC episode I'm watching right now (if you know what episode it is off the top of your head you might be my soul mate).

So the photo above is from yesterday. VV is on travel again; he was on the east coast from Tuesday to Friday last week and he left again for the same place yesterday. All of his travel is making me revert to my living-by-myself behavior (according to the census-takers I do still live by myself because I have my own apartment still but in reality I'm never ever there and I basically live with VV) which involves playing DVDs nonstop and eating bad food sort of. I used to have SATC running all the time while studying/cleaning/surfing the internet/cooking/etc because I love it and I know it so well that I don't really need to watch it closely.

Anyway. Today I had zucchini pasta with fresh-grated parm, black truffle puree, olive and truffle oil, salt and pepper. And then I had a slice of toasted whole-wheat sourdough with white truffle butter. And some Honey Moon viongnier. Which I'm still working on.

I bought a ton of truffle stuff at Whole Foods today on a (very expensive) whim. The black truffle cream/puree is the least truffle-y of the bunch which concerns me a bit. The other two products have arome and are much more...familiar. Which makes me wonder if I actually prefer the artificial truffle fragrance to real truffles. Makes me worry.

Ugh, Charlotte just said "Anything less than 5 feet is unacceptable." BITCH.

Beauty goodies! Above, a bunch of different soaps and moisturizers from Chagrin Valley. My skin had a major freakout recently and this stuff has no detergenty stuff and doesn't strip my skin. The shampoo is tricky but it's worth not being rashy all over.

Below are some face goodies from XL (yayyy samples!) that I'm excited to try after I finish my course of medication (for my rash-ified skin) and a bunch of false lashes that I'm going to use I-have-no-idea-when because I'm a loser and don't really go out and party anymore. There's a couple pairs of Ardells because Ardell has been pretty good to me in the past and there are a few pairs from Daiso that I grabbed too many of because they were cheap.

I miss VV *sigh*

Sorry. Blogging because I'm irritated.

"You haven't even tried to be my Facebook friend!" he exclaimed.

"That's because I don't add anybody." I retorted.

"Neither do I!"

"Well I guess we're...we're in a gridlock." I said, the red wine I had consumed was getting in the way of my vocabulary. I meant to say "deadlock".

That was the beginning of the sparkling wine tasting, before we'd opened a single bottle of sparkling wine. The weather was bad and people were staggering in. In the meantime, we opened up some bottles of red wine to get the party going. By the time everyone that was expected to be there on time had showed up I was already feeling a good red wine buzz.

There was an abundance of food and tooo muuchhh wiiiine. It lasted maybe 5 hours and I'm not entirely sure what we did for that entire time. I did have a good time, though!

Photos and maybe a video (!) coming up later. We'll see when I get time to edit. Probably sooner than later since VV is going to be gone for most of the week (sad). In the meantime, here's a photo of someone (Lina?) putting a penis on my face.

VV is hungry. I am, unfortunately, not.

It smells strongly of air freshener in here.
